I do not have a surround sound system and I am not sure I want one.

What I am interested in is a small basic sound system that would allow me to listen to the radio channels/music channels available within my Dish Network subscription.

I would like to do this and not run the TV for just the audio. I do not need to see the channel display info as I have a list of the channel numbers we like.

So is there a small system available?

I have plenty of ventilated space behind the new DTV where the old analog set was.

I don't have any satellite service so I do not know if you can listen to Dish Network music through your computer when you have an account with them. I can with my XM Radio. Computer speakers are cheap, the ones I have now cost under $20. Another thing I do for music is ITunes, they have some great free radio stations.

Bose Wave system is the best for a "Small" theater such as a motor home

However any decent stereo, either 12 volt or 120 volt, will do just fine.. Your sat receiver has A/V outputs on the back (Red/White and Yellow) Ignore the yellow, just hook up red and white.
