a reasonable fix might also be using Glue Sticks with the Gun to seal all. I use this always on my underground sprinklers, electrical connections to seal and lasts for years. FFOOD FOR THOUGHT Take Care!!!!

Use RTV Silicone and it will seal it for many years. It has been around for a long time and it is a dielectric.

If the connector is just a dish lead-in cable'I don't understand the importance of all this sealing. I have had exposed cable connectors on my stick and brick house for fifteen years and a portable dish on the motor home for eleven years and none of the connectors are sealed or covered in any way.What am I missing?
