We have had a Sprint wireless air card for over 3 years. During the last several months our usage has increased over 5 GB per month. We are on an unlimited plan thats over 3 years old. We hesitiate to purchase a new air card becasue we currently have unlimited usage, however I have heard through the grapevine that if we continue to exceed the 5GB per month that sprint will tell us that our current plan has expired and will change our plan. Has anyone heard or experinced this situation? If so, did Sprint drop your old plan and change your plan to a new one?

Here is how it appears that ATT does it....
With the same unlimited plan (for almost 5 years) and for approx. the last 3 months we turn on the computer and the aircard icon appears and indicates the signal to be 3G with 2-4 "bars". Then we sign in and immediately are connected at 2G with 2-3 bar signal strength. That is slower than dial-up as we have one of those for back-up.
