Stereo, GPS, Rear view unit
Just picked up our 1st RV last night to tow our RZR around. It’s a 2001 Winnebago Brave SE. From what I gather, it’s prewired for a rear view camera, but the compatibility of the cable may not work with current cameras. I did a search of an all in 1 unit, but not sure if I found what I want.
I’m thinking of a double din head unit at dash to replace the original AM/FM/CD unit sounds like a nice clean install. I’m wanting one that will work as a GPS, Rear View monitor, and the normal stereo ( BT, XM, iPhone) stuff. Is there a good quality head unit that does all this that works very well?
I see a lot of inexpensive ones, ($150-200) just not sure if they work as well as the separate units. Have no problem for a higher cost unit, if it will work well.
Any recommendations, if there is such a beast, or even opinions if there is situations where a single screen for all isn’t advised.
Thanks

Thanks. Wasn’t sure where to post it. It’s not so much a coach brand question but more of an electronics one. I’m just assuming I’ll be running a new cable either way.

Take a look at Android Auto/Apple car play double din head units; eg, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony. Prices vary by capability. There are a number of units that, in addition to Android auto/car play, have multiple video inputs. One of these head units will give you, radio, BT, SiriusXM (with receiver/adapter), video, and Nav. You could also go for top of the line unit that has nav built in. You are probably looking at $300+ to as much as $1200 for top of the line.

Sure. But other Winebago owners may have already tried this.
