We just had our RV power-washed and the TV and the front half of the 120 circuit has no power. We have checked all the fuses which appear ok, but the circuit fault Reset won't hold. We have unplugged all equipment that is connected to that circuit with the exception of the TV. We have also, independently, checked the other pieces of equipment in that area to eliminate them as potential problems and they all work ok when connected to the rear circuit. The TV is an over dash model RCA and we can't get to it to find out if the short is somewhere in it. Does anyone know how to get the TV out? The TV appears to either be slid into place or the cabinet is built around it? The only other thing we can think of is that the circuit reset may be bad? This is in a 2005 Holiday Rambler Endeavor. If anyone knows how to take this TV (It is the standard old type and weighs about 60-70 lbs) out or has any other suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. This is kind of urgent since we are on the road. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.

Hooray! It was the circuit reset switch that was bad and not the TV! What a relief.

Great!!! sometimes you just luck out. Taking one out can be a daunting job, that requires two people.

I will give you some info about two things.. Not one of them "Hot to get the TV out" however

Though getting the TV out can be a pain in some RV's you usually find the PLUG for the TV is in a compartment beside, above, or below the TV and fairly easy to access.. Mine is behind the house radio in the cabinet to the right of the TV, it is a most unique socket since it contains the interlock relay (Clearly labeled in short)

Page 2: You said a GFCI could not reset after washing the rig.. Many times there is a Patio outlet, it is outside, and when you have the rig washed, or wash it yourself, epically if you use a pressure washer, water can get inside the "Weather proof (Almost) box" and cause the GFCI to function as designed,, and trip when it senses current flowing to "Ground".
