I am ordering the following gear to hopefully give me the best internet on the road (reasonably) possible using cellular carrier SPRINT data access. Anyone else ever use this gear of have any knowledge of this system?

It includes a roof "Puck" type antenna ( same one used in my division's unmarked vehicles or a 14" whip antenna ( I'm getting the whip antenna) , a signal amp, router with 4 cat-5 ports.

Telular Wi-Path SX7M-435C - Sprint Broadband Ethernet Modem with spike antennas, Power Supply with standard plug, and Battery Backup
LinkSys 4 Port Wireless-G Router
Custom Cable - 3' of coaxial cable with Mini-UHF Male to TNC Male connectors
Antenna Mount
Roof Mount Antenna DBRMA17MUM Dual Band Roof Mount Antenna - 14" whip w/17' of RG-58 non-terminated cable and Mini-UHF Male connector
Inline Amplifier Cellular Amplifier - Dual Band 3 Watt for GSM and CDMA with Mini-UHF Female connectors. Kit includes 2' cable with 2 Mini-UHF Male connectors and 12 volt cigarette lighter type power adapter.
AC/DC Power Supply 10V for the DA4000

Any info would be appreciated...

Cheers
geo

I'd like to know how well the WIPATH sx7m works for you? I now have a Wilson antenna booster and external antenna and don't see much of an improvement.

I wanted to just update this thread. The system as described was installed along with a wireless Cisco Router. We connected the Cellular modem to the wireless hub. We have 2 laptops and 3 Highend computers running on SPRINT data connection with very acceptable results. I'd highly recommend this configuration.

Additionally, my interaction with Mike at Telular and Telular was excellent through out...

cheers
