Temporary Canadian Cell Service for Visitors

I will be visiting Eastern Canada for 4-6 weeks and I'd like to find out the best option to obtain cellular voice, text and internet service while in Canada. Ideally it would have all unlimited service, but it needs to at least have unlimited voice service. Suggestions?

Cheaper to get coverage extended on your US plan than pay for a Canadian phone. Verizon and AT&T have it included in some plans, you can add it to others.

We use Cricket which is AT&T prepaid and includes unlimited use in CA. Can't have majority use in CA more than three consecutive months.

My carrier is Verizon and when we were in Canada last summer, we had cell and limited data service every where except the ALCAN. Check with your carrier and see what they say.

My AT&T works in US, Mexico, and Canada with no additional fees.
