Any one with good or bad experiences using this router with a Cingular Sierra 860 Air Card?
I have had the 860 for 10 or so months and it has worked well for us with the exception of the South end OBX.
I would like to replace cable modem with wireless router and not have to pay Time Warner $60 per month while we are away.

We have Time Warner Internet access in Yuma, AZ. When we get ready to leave for the summer we go to the Time Warner office in Yuma and have them put our account in vacation mode for six months. The cost is $5/month and this keeps your email account open so you can still access your email. You cannot get Internet access through Time Warner while in vacation mode. When we return for the winter season we have them turn the account on for full access.

We do the exact same thing with Commspeed up in Prescott. While we are gone, which is most of the time, we go in to the 5.00 a month email mode. when we are home, (almost never) it's 59.95 for full high speed access.

I liked my Top Global so well that I cut my cable internet service. I use a Verizom express, Rev-A card and it is very fast! On the road we both like using our laptops at the same time. Go to EVDO forums.com and you can get a lot of good info on this.

I too am a Top Global fan. We have had it for over a year and (we don't share well ) have had peace in the valley ever since.
