I have the Trac Vision L3 sat dish on the MH. The previous owner did have dish network. As far as I can tell, I will need the switchplate, according to the manual I downloaded. Where would the switchplate be installed if there was one already? We are getting Direct TV installed in our home next week. I am thinking of using an SD receiver in the MH since the dish can't get HD.
Is the L3 a stationary dish or can it be used for in motion reception???
Where to get the switchplate if needed?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Alex
PS: I know they don't make the L3 anymore and I don't want to spend the bucks for a new dish.

KVH TracVision L3 Deluxe In-Motion DVB RV Satellite TV Antenna System (L3) - KVH - KVHL3 -

Above description indicates it is in motion dome. You will only need Sat 101 for Direct TV SD picture so switchplate is probably not needed.

HD is not possible with a Dome and Direct TV.

I understand only Dish has need for two satellite settings on SD.
