Actually, the coverage map is the entire US, Canada and Mexico! The only limiting factor would be a tree blocking your view of the Southern sky.
The download limit is 200MB per day which is a whole lot more than one good sized video (OK, maybe a movie length video) and while the pricing is high, the speeds are pretty darn good compared to any other "mobile" internet connection. You can't compare the service to anything like cable or DSL as satellite cannot begin to stand up to these kinds of services. However, these services can't be taken mobile so you have to keep your perspective clear.
