I bought a new TST tire pressure sensing system the the Bethpage rally. While the coach is sitting here at home and during a pre-trip check, I get an alarm telling me the LF tire is down to 14 psi. Removed sensor, checked pressure in tire (it was 104). Replaced sensor and it seemed to settle in. I called TST and was told 'when it gets cold, a sensor may send a low pressure signal.' So, today, I am now getting low pressure alarms from both front tires. Outside temp is 40F. So, I am now wondering if every time it gets cold outside, I will get false low pressure readings from these sensors.

Anyone else with this system have this problem?

As I understand these systems you can set the optimal pressure setting and then the system would respond to levels of low or high pressure from previously established norms ie; 12% less than normal a warning etc, as an example.

Tire pressure decreases the colder it gets----so maybe just resetting the normal pressure readings would solve the problem.

Thinking out loud--------

I've had the TST for 4 years and have never had that problem.

What pressure do you run your tires at? If you checked the pressure and it was 104 @ 40F you must be running about 110 @ 70F.
