TV Antena/Cable/Satelite/DVD switch box?
We recently took delivery of a 2017 Thor Seiste Sprinter 24' class C motor home. Our first time out we hooked up to "shore" cable. During walk thru we were told that to obtain air or cable channels was thru the TV menu. During the TV menu channel auto search we could not obtain all cable channels or air channels. I believe there should be a switch box to select cable/air/DVD inputs to TV. Looking thru the motor home there is a devise but no way to select TV inputs. Anybody have an idea?

You should have a wall plate or switch to select OTA signals or cable. It is most likely a wall plate with a coax connector and a push button switch. The switch should be on for OTA signals and off for cable. This switches the signals as well as turning on power for the OTA antenna booster.

Look for something like this. Small pushbutton switch "in" for TV and "out" for cable.

We don't have what is pictured or anything to turn off and on. Just called dealer service. Reply was unplug or turn off boaster (above closet) because boaster interfears with cable input and again menu TV to cable and auto scan for channels. This did not help. Trip back to the dealer today for answers. The Thor operator manual covers ALL thor RVs. No help at all.

The switch box is in a upper cabinet in my Citation. I was able to set up my tv's thru the TV. Don't expect any help from Thor, they have your money now and don't want to be bothered by past suckers er customers. Worst customer service I've experienced thru 6 motor homes.

one thing you might try if you are connected to shore cable is to swap the cable at the cable switch box from T.V. to auxiliary or satellite which ever it is. My connections on the outside where miss labeled and could not get anything on shore cable but I could get over the air signals. just a thought.

Generally, it's a 3 step process. Somewhere, the input needs to be switched ... this changes the input signal from cable to OTA or vice versa. It also enables/disables the booster for OTA. Then, on the TV, the type of input must be selected (cable or Antenna) to enable the correct tuner in the TV. Then, a COMPLETE scan must be started and completed at the TV.
Does your DVD player work?

Maxwedge413 got this picture from an online ad for a 2017 24SS. This is the OTA antenna booster power switch/park cable switch in the cabinet above the refrig. Must be off to watch cable on to watch OTA TV. The tuning lights on the OTA antenna will be off when the switch is off.
