TV antenna

most of the time we are hook to cable and we did away with the direct tv
my question is to get local broadcast were ever Im at . I thought I would be ok when we switch over because I have a box in the MH but the Box is only a switch from sat, cable, vcr and ant I quess I need another box to covert to digtal would I need two as hav e two tv in MH or one not sure what I would need thanks Jim

I would suggest going to Wallmart and purchasing two digital converter boxes if you have old TVs without digital tuners. Instructions included.

You can get by with one converter if you don't care that you have to watch the same program on both TVs. However, a separate converter for each TV will it makes it easier to change channels if you watch TV in bed since you use the converter to change channels.

One of the few stores I know of that still carries those boxes is Radio Shack.

I recommend you put it in line with the VCR, make sure the model you get has analog pass through, Remove the ANT IN from the VCR, and feed it to the converter, Feed the converter's TO TV line to the VCR port you just opened up.

On the switch box select TV ANT for the VCR input and VCR for the TV, leave VCR off and the converter will work just fine, So will everything else

To record Cable TV on the VCR.. Turn the converter box off.
