We are in the same process but replacing the big TV first. It was a 27" flatscreen CRT putting in a 32" Samsung smart TV so we can access a hard drive with 600G of movies and music and a smart blueray player to access netflix etc as well. Its connected directly to a visio soundbar by Toslink cable. We also have it set up so we can use the surround sound and 2 subwoofers that were OEM as well as maintain the use of the car stereo as the receiver and the inverter that winnebago put in just for the entertainment center. That way it all runs on coach batteries when driving down the road including the bedroom TV. The inverter will be so happy not having to power that huge CRT. lol

Charlie 5320, The speakers are on the rear of the set and wimpy so I had the same problem when the air was on of hearing it.
Our coach had an old cassette/radio in it so I put in a new Pioneer cd/radio with front aux port on it yesterday. I need to get a longer audio cable put now I can run from the headphone jack on the tv to the radio aux port and have the sound come thru the 4 original coach speakers.

The antenna power plates are not too expensive so you could replace it the have a power source for your tv. Or buy a 12v power plug and tap into the wires on the antenna plate backside.

4X4VAN - You're confused??? Think of what it's like to be me! I really don't need you to tell me I'm confused - the DW reminds me of that all the time.

It is indeed a 400w inverter with 2 110v outlets and 2 USB outlets. I put that sized inverter in just in case we want to add a DVD player later, and a 400w should be more than adequate.

By the way, to cut down on the "whirring" noise from the inverter's fan in the bedroom I'm going to mount the inverter in the closet behind the TV cabinet and run the wiring through the back wall of the TV cabinet into the closet. It's a huge closet so I'm not at all concerned about any heat build-up.

Thanks for clarifying for me - and for everyone else I may have confused.
