We have an 87 Class C Coachmen that we are trying to fihure out how to mount a 19" LCD TV. We have very limited space and the TV connections are on the bottom of an overhead cabinet along the passenger side.
I do not see how we can mount it anywhere near the connections. I guess I'm just trying to figure out how others have done this. I know there are still plenty of older coaches still on the road.

Is there some place on or near the cabinet that you could mount a swivel bracket that would put you close enough to the connections in the cabinet?
Not sure what you space looks like, so this may not be possible.

If you could post some pics in & around the location of your connections, it'd help us out a lot figuring out a solution for you. It's hard to visualize what you're working with.

Buy some metric screws and make a plate to bolt to the back and mount to the wall under cabinet.

These aren't my coach, but they give a good idea of how mine is set up. I've got bunch of stuff piled up in the front area while I'm rebuilding the back, so these web pics will have to do for now.
Basically, I've got 2 captain's chairs seperated by a small table along the passenger side. There is also a large "bay" window almost as large as the chair/table area. Directly above the chair/table area we have a row of overhead cabinets that run lengthwise (front to rear) from the overcab bunk to the side entry door. The TV connections are almost centered on the bottom of the cabinet.
I guess the original thought was that you could just set the TV on the small table between the captain chairs and plug into the overhead connections.

Why not mount the HD right where they original TV was expected to be. Think about the old days.....when we went RVing it was like camping, no radio, no TV, no cellphones.
My Dad had a Dolphin (based on Toyota Mini-pickup chassis) with the same mid to front layout. He had a 15" TV that we stored in the overhead bed area when traveling. It had no home when parked and we had to move it around to keep it out of the way.
Another possibility is to mount the TV on the side of the refer wall, maybe where the clock is currently (in your reference pictures). The wall would need to be reinforced. This would actually allow the TV to be viewed from both the couch and the swivel chairs. You would have to purchase extensions for the cabling.

Both ideas had crossed our minds. We really wanted to mount it on the "clock wall", but after doing some measuring, we decided it was probably not a good idea. It would likely sit out to far and somebody (probably me) would either bump into it or put their drunk head through it.
I guess for now, it will just sit on the table.
