TV sound thru the coach radio speakers

Can someone tell me how to get the dash radio (Jensen) to play the coach TV sound thru its speakers?

Lots of options depending on tv and radio. Such as a fm transmitter on tv, or Bluetooth transmitter on tv output and receiver on radio head, or running audio out from tv to front or rear jack on radio head. I opted for a long cable as that was easy for me, RCA out from the tv to 3.5mm headphone jack on front of Jensen. I only need it when ac is running so no issue.

I have a Jensen VR-180 with a CD changer input (no changer) and no RCA inputs . I ended up using a cassette adapter plugged into the cassette slot. I snaked the wires to the back of the TV and used the output jack on a New Samsung LED TV.

If you have RCA out jacks on the TV and have RCA input jacks on the Jensen, use them.

It may be hard to find, but a search for various word combinations may find what you are looking for. Just keep the search as short as possible, as this forum's search will find EVERY word you search for. I did a quick search and couldn't find what you're looking for.

Assuming you have audio out RCA jacks on your TV and your radio has an AUX input you can select, (RCA jacks) you need to run a RCA jack cable RED/White from your TV to your radio. You can buy them in various sizes from 1 foot long to 30 or 40 feet long. They usually have a red and white (L-R) RCA plug on each end. If you need a custom length, you can make one yourself. Radio shack sells all the stuff you need to do this job. With the TV turned on and the radio set to the AUX, you should have TV sound in your coach. Good luck with this one. Let us know how you make out..

It's called a Poor Man's Surround Sound. Works best to use a variable TV out. Your can use the Fade and Balance on the Radio and/or TV.

The fast and easy is a transmitter, audio in and some channel out, tune radio and you are set.

We need to find a couple for ours someday.

I represent ASA Electronics, the producer of the JENSEN brand of televisions, stereos and speakers, the Voyager brand of observation monitors and cameras and Advent appliances. At ASA, we strive to provide excellent customer service and product satisfaction and would like to offer some assistance in this matter.

Typically, you need to have a TV with an AUDIO OUTPUT and a radio with an available AUX IN. From there, you need to select the AUX IN mode on the radio to listen to the TV. There may be several items to check for why you are not able to hear the TV audio through the dash radio. I will need to know the model of the radio and TV. If the TV is not a JENSEN brand, check the owner’s manual to determine whether it has analog audio outputs. Also, see if the TV has a setting in the menu to allow the internal speakers to be shut OFF, as this will be necessary to enable the audio outputs on many TV’s. There may also be a setting to switch the TV’s analog audio output from FIXED/VARIABLE.

If you prefer, you may call us for directly for assistance. Please have the above referenced information handy when you call. You can reach us on our toll free technical support line at (877) 845-8750. We are available M-F 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM EDT.

We look forward to hearing back from you.

I replaced the stock headunit in the RV to a new one that has AUX in and USB ports. I then got a RCA to sepaker cable and plug it in. Works like a charm
