Well got a real good deal on 40" for 400.00 and really always considered the 36" up front kinda small. So Swaped it out and put the 40 up front and the 36 inch in back.

Basically just removed old added alot of support and placed a large flat surface for home tv mount, I still need to move the doors over a bit for clearance, but in the meantime if needed the tv will slide on the current mount left and right to allow doors to clear.

I was worried about traveling movement but solved that with a few inexpensive rubber balls.

Also as you can see in pictures no insulation in the cabinet area so in hot months the old tv would shut off when over heated this placed the tv out into the open air of the cab so that should not be a issue going to go back with insulation when I have time and insulate the area better.

gresults...it looks like the cabinet on the driver side is empty. Have you thought about moving the TV over to the left side and then just adding a piece of wood to the right side of the cabinet frame of the door opening and then cutting the door down?
By the way...where did you find such a nice price on a 40" TV? (I am sure there are others who might like to get one for the same price! )

Yes with the unit to one side it does clear, but I'm kinda odd things have to be centered, I kinda look at the motorhome as a hobby and pretty sure I can move both doors over without to much trouble, I have a bunch of wood that matches the interior color pretty well.

As for the TV Conn's had them on sale a few weekends ago, I think you will start seeing more of the LCD's coming down in price as the LED versions start to come out.

I still need to upgrade the Surround Sound to one with digital input to take advantage of the digital out on the TV, Which if all goes well will sneek off this weekend and do that.
