just a question for the experts
Why can't I get the TV to play through speakers. DVD works great through speakers as well as the radio but not the TV

The amplifier in the TV isn't strong enough to carry the sound. It's matched to the speakers inside the TV case.

My Tv works thru the speakers, if you have a surround sound system that is what will direct it. You may also have to set up the TV settings to do that.

You have to connect the tv output "rca"cable (if the tv is equipped) to one of the inputs located behind the jensen. You may have to adjust the audio setting in the tv for this to work.

I connect my TV to the sound system using a double ended 3.5mm RCA jack cable. One end goes into the headphone jack on the tv, the other goes to the Aux input on the sound system. No surround/special effects but it works pretty well.
