Well....finally made the big purchase....just installed the new Winegard DISH SK1000 ......
overall pretty easy job...
Pre-mounting and prep.....removed the old KVH dome several weeks ago...alos ran new coax wire under RV to accomadate the 2nd recievier..pre-wired both so they were ready to go once the new winegard was installed....(ran both coax cables up front to the entainamnet center)
Once the new sat antenna was on the roof......sealed and bolted down.....just had to run the new control cable from the roof thru the same roof tunnel to the inside entertiainment area.....hook up both recievers....(near the location of the old dome switch inside the entertainment ceter)......
hardest part has getting the new disk up on the roof.......(ended up using a tarp..wrapped up the dish and pulled it up using a rope......(its about 40 /50 lbs) suggest using 2 people
sealing was easy....leveling was easy....running waires easy....

took about 5 hours to unpack, mount, run wiring, test, and close up wire tunnels...add covers.

Kudos! Have done 2 installs myself -- X2 for having 2 people for the heavy lifting.

Hope you are as happy with the Travler as we are.

According to the wife, it is the best upgrade we have done.
