Verizon Unlimited

Having been experimenting with Verizon and ATT unlimited having mobely and verizon prepay unlimited that both are now longer available both work great usually one it better than the other at certain locations.

But I am curious for those that only use either for internet access do you have trouble with your live tv service complaining(hulu live, playstation vue, youtube etc...) not at home even when you are at home?

I had this trouble a long time ago with playstation Vue but not recently.

I am considering dropping my home internet service and just using verizon or att since they both work pretty well at my SB.

Just looking for insight into what other might have already experienced.

Just finished a 76 day trip - west of Mississippi River and north of I70 for most of trip. Used streaming via OTR Mobile (ATT) on a hotspot for the trip. Only about 4 days did we have bandwidth less than 7-8 Mbps. Surprisingly we had consistently better data rates on OTR Mobile than we did on our Verizon Android phones. However, we did discover issues with PlayStation Vue. When you are away from your home area for more than about 45 days (+/-). PSV app on my Android phone just stopped with no error messages. My wife's Android phone would play PSV on the phone but would not cast to Chromecast. PSV on Firestick 4K just quit. But using Chrome on laptop was able to cast to Chromecast for TV's. At one point experimented with VPN and got PSV back for about 2 days. But PSV does not like VPN. Finally back to home area and PSV works again.

Take away is that PSV is not friendly to long term travel. Yes, I have tried other streaming services, but found issues with them as well.
DW just wants it to work. Just doesn't want to mess with the electronics just to watch her news shows.

What is my next step? Possibly potrable automatic satellite and one of the streaming services. OTR Mobile worked very well. YMMV.

there are way around the out of home if you have fixed internet service there like having a laptop you can get to or a vpn just to watch. All you have to do is open the site and it refreshes your last login.

I mainly use apps not the actual PS vue app itself.

I was more interested if these services treat hotspot services as home internet or consider it mobile thus not resetting the clock on the being home much like the issue you ran into.
