Wally for Dish TV

Does anyone know if both outputs can be used at same time , one to front tv and other to rear tv?

I think yes, but have not actually used both. An HDMI splitter could be an option.

If you are asking about the Composite A/V output as the second output...yes, but it is only standard definition, not High Def:

+1

I send HDMI to my front TV and use the composite (with a little amplifier) to send over coax using original coach coax to send to the other 3 TV's.

Hello Don,
I also have Mountain Aire, model 4121. Mine is a 2007. I have been trying to upgrade my AV system and have found that I have composite wiring to all my HD TV's. I am second owner and don't know why someone would wire for SD when they have HD TV's in place. Anyway, I want to get HD programming to my forward TV. And, I am in the process of installing a Wally. Did you run HDMI to the forward TV or was it done by Newmar?

Hi Larry,

You're the only other 4121 owner I've come across in 1.5 years since we've owned ours! We did see one on the road this spring in Virginia but it was from Ontario.

I installed my Wally in the compartment over the front door, tapping into the "cable in" coming from the electrical entrance in the basement. I used the HDMI coming out of the Wally to snake thru to the front TV and the composite goes to a small amplifier then feeds back into the cable system for the other 3 TV's. I did have to run AC up into the cabinet for the wally and the little amplifier.

We use the mid coach TV with our Apple TV box and don't watch broadcast TV over it but the coax to the outside and BR TV's works fine for us, although I know many are compelled to have HDMI everywhere, I haven't found it worth the effort.

Would love to connect sometime and chat about the 4121 "nuances" if you're interested. PM me here if so and I can provide contact info.

Ok, so you are satisfied with SD at every tv except the front one where you get HD with the HDMI?
