Weldex works in "R" only

Hello other Campers,
I have a Weldex 3007 in my 2006 Bounder that we recently purchased.

The monitor/camera has been giving me fits since we got it. Yes I know this is an old system and I should just upgrade it but it seems like we have been throwing money at this coach since we bought it. If I can save $300 to $400 by fixing this system I would like to do that.

Yesterday I took the coach for an alignment 50 miles away. I turned the power on the monitor, took it off standby, and had a nice picture and drove it to the shop, over bumpy roads, and the camera worked 100% of the time.

When I backed the coach out of the shop the camera was not working. It did not work all the way home. When I went to back into the designated spot, the camera worked perfect. I found that when I shifted into reverse the system worked. When I went to drive or neutral it would go to a plane white screen. Back to reverse and I got a great picture.

Ideas?

Thanks

Check all the settings. I added a small 12 volt muffin fan to keep air moving by the corner where the power supply is located. So far no problems for a couple of years.

Good thought but I am not sure that was the issue. When driving back the outside temp was about 65 so inside temp wasn't bad. Didn't even use AC.
Thanks for the reply
