What height is in your RV GPS?

My MH measures approx 12'11. I put 13ft in my Garmin 770. Should I pad it 6 inches for safety?

What a coincidence, I padded my measurement 6". Just gave me peace of mind when traveling. If they overlay on a road before they update the maps, you could be in for a rude awakening. Most highway overlays are between 1" & 2".

Regardless of whatever you set it for, NEVER, NEVER trust ANY GPS!!! Best thing is a radio antenna up on the front corner or your rig that is 6" higher than the highest point on your rig!

Now that's some of the best advice I've heard in a long time right there ^^^^

My advertised height is 12' 6" and I've got mine set on 13'......but I really like the antenna or fiberglass pole or ???? idea really well

An inch is as good as a mile.
One thing for certain about modern electronics and technology is they'll take a dump when you need them the most.
There is no substitute for good ole fashion seat of your pants navigation. Watch those posted road signs, know exactly how high your trailer/coach really is on both ends and allow for approach grade angles etc. If you're under 13'6" you're probably fine most of the time. Ironically CG's and fuel overhangs and trees aren't on GPS anyways.
At 13'5" the only place we typically have issues are poorly designed / maintained CG's.

Keep her shiny, and from busting open like an overripe melon.

I am 12 feet 10 inches and I padded mine 6 inches as well!! I don't think it has made any difference to any route we have used. We have never come close to testing the accuracy of the Garmin we use.

BTW - You will like your Ventana. Have had ours close to two years and has been completely trouble free except for one lose wire in the rear toilet that caused a temp problem. I also like your thread about the sound system issues, always wondered what the problem was but was not THAT important to me. I will rewire and reconfigure mine before out next trip

Factory spec's say 13'-0" so that's what I put in. Supposed to be a sticker by the Allison control pad but it's missing.
