I am using Windows 7 and even if you're still on Vista you might be using Gadgets. These things are alot of fun and there's 3867 of them it would appear. I don't have the patience to go through more than a few dozen pages. So, "What is your favorite Gadget?"

Windows Gadgets Page 1 of 194

There are so many of these things it's incredible!

I'm still on XP

I'm not really into Gagets but if I looked hard enough through the clutter on my desktop I could prpbably find a few

Just looking through the first few pages I did find one I have installed, and that's my WeatherUnderground.

I added MS office to this laptop and MS sent me a email telling me the software might be illegal I could come out of the cold for $348 for the professional suite. No I figure I bought the stuff and can put it on two machines, not.
So I switched to open source and talk about add on's I have a little window that tells me of appointments, birthdays, must be thousands of add on;s for Firefox and Thunderbird. Even a replacement for MS office that lets you email in MS format. This is way cool.
Jim

I totally agree with Jim.

Mozilla Firefox is by far the Best in it's class. And it's all FREE! Designed and built by "user's" not employee's. Now if only Mozilla would come out with an OS that would replace MS, life would be so much easier and probably with far less security issues and update's needed too. How often have you seen a MS security update specific to Firefox security?

Bill Gates, eat your heart out!

My favorite Gadget is the automatic toilet seat covers on the rolls at Chicago O'Hara Airport. When you stand up, the toilet seat cover is on a roll and it is like a sleeve that fits around the seat. It spins a new cover for the next occupant and zips the used cover to another spool.

Actually kidding, I like the desktop real time stock quotes, but, the automatic toilet seat covers are cool!

I don't go for all the gadgets or gimmicks. Slows things down too much.

I have a Mac, so my gadgets are a tad different. I like the dock and the dashboard. Now with the PC laptop that we carry in the rig and use as a 2nd computer in the house, I like all the icons on the desktop that are used with XP.

My favorite gadget is my Macbook Pro. I struggled for way too many years with the slowness, clumsiness, and stubbornness of Windows PC's. I never in a million years thought I would switch to Mac. Now that I have (a little over a year) I could not go back to a PC if my life depended on it. I don't even have an anti virus software. When I push the on button my computer comes on and I can immediately use it... none of that waiting for everything to load before I can open explorer. It never slows down... If you are thinking about it... DO IT. You WILL NOT regret coming into the light.

I love my PC and despite trying Mac's I will remain a die hard PC users. I don't mind using A/V software since it's free and I have never had an infection. I don't care about start up speeds as my PC is most on 24/7 anyway. I find no fault with a Mac, but for the money I just can't anything that good about it either (which might explain their 10% market share).

Monsoon Wireless HD for streaming TV from the second Dish tuner. I use it watch sports on the laptop while my wife watches her shows on the primary tuner/TV. I put on some headphones and kick back in the recliner. It's a lot more comfortable than watching TV in the bedroom.

Well silly me! I thought this was about RV gadgets and got all excited and then I find out its about some add on to exacerbate the clutter already on my PC.
