Which Dash kit to install new stereo
I have a 1998 National RV Dolphin 5360 and am looking to put in a new stereo. Looking at possibly a Pioneer DEH-X7800BHS
I have installed a few car stereos before and Always had to purchase a dash kit to fit the particular vehicle. I have not been able to figure out for sure what dash kit to get for this motorhome. Here is an image of the dashboard
I found this one GMK432
Any suggestions?

If you're going from single-DIN to single-DIN you don't need a dash kit. I can't tell because the picture of your dash isn't showing.
Replacing/upgrading a stereo can be done in literally 15 minutes if you're halfway decent with wire strippers and crimpers (or soldering/heat shrinking if you're a stickler).
If you post another picture of your dash I can help you out a bit more - but most newer radios come with provisions to attach themselves to the DIN size they are intended to be in. Dash kits are only really useful if you're taking out a double-DIN and installing a single-DIN - or if you have an odd sized, proprietary type head unit you're taking out and need to adapt the space to fit the new one.

Check out crutchfield, whenever i bought a radio from them in the past the install kit and plug and play connecting wire to the specific vehicle was included

I recently replaced the old single DIN stereo in our '04 MADP with that exact stereo and did not use or need a dash kit. Also, I just soldered the wires from the old connector in to the new wires (same colors), very easy. BTW, I am very happy with that Pioneer!

I know this thread is ancient now, but I just got around to installing the new stereo and figured I would post this in case anyone else comes looking.
On the original stereo that was installed had to remove the trim plate but just prying it off carefully. Then to release the radio there are four holes you need to slide thin strips of metal or stiff plastic into to release it. I originally thought it was just two, one on either side vertically in the middle, but those slots did not release it.
After releasing the stereo removing the original installation bracket was easy; however the dashboard is made of plastic and had weakened and cracked over the years so when I released the stereo it broke into a couple pieces. I used a gel superglue to put it back together, and it mostly held.
Everything was fairly standard to connect to except the original stereo had the negative from all left speakers connected to a common for the left side and all the right speakers to a common for the right side.
As people mentioned there was no need for a dash kit, it fit perfectly. and sounded great.
The only downside to this particular stereo in this motorhome is the amount of light coming in through the windows makes it almost impossible to read the display.

As an aside, Crutchfield sells wire connectors that are amazingly easy to use and strong. No soldering, crimping, etc. You can undo them and reuse if you make a mistake...like I did.
