Which one? Dish or Direct with RM-DM46
Our Damon came with Winegard RM-DM46 on roof. Never used and wanting to setup a service before a 6,000 mile trip. Not concerned about packages, pricing, pay as you go service or phone support. Just want to know which provider works best with current antenna.

There is a simple conversion from either to the other on your antenna setup, so I would recommend that you check out both their web sites to see who has the programming that best suits your needs.

It looks like the dish is a crank up, single LNB type. You'd probably be better off with DirecTV since their SD programming is on 101. Dish has most of their programming on 119, but some is on 110 and most of the HD is on 129. You should get more SD channels on DirecTV satellite 101. With Dish, you'd have the ability to get HD, but you'd have to aim at different satellites to get everything. You won't be able get DirecTV HD with that dish.
If HD isn't a factor, I would go with DirecTV.
