Have looked at them all before buying the Garmin 760 and am happy with it.

Since starting RV'ing 8 years ago I've gone through 3 gps units. I'm currently running the Garmin Dezl 760. Bought it before Garmin came out with their RV version of the unit. I like it. Large, bright screen. Compared to the others I've owned Garmin has the best screen.
Does it do silly things at times? Sure, but no worse than any other unit I've had.
One of my previous units was the Rand McNally original 5" screen. I thought it was pretty good until it wouldn't connect to my computer so I could update the maps and firmware. After spending two hours on the phone with a RM tech, was told that I would have to purchase another unit. Sort of lost interest in Rand McNally at that point. The original RM didn't have the best touch screen nor visibility in bright light but until I couldn't update it, it served me well.
Keep watching, I'm sure there will be lots of input.

We have the Garmin RV760. Once you set your parameters for your rig, it pretty accurate. Like all GPS's, you still have to pay attention to road signs and look out the window, none of them are perfect.
We had the Rand, it broke in three weeks. The Magellan power cord quit working in two weeks. Problems with our Garmin, Zero.

Whatever GPS you purchase don't be fooled. Some say "free updates" our Megellan has free updates which is only for the software not the maps. A little deceiving so my next GPS won't be a Megellan.

Quick question - can you plan a trip with Street Atlas and up load it to your Garmin?

Yes, Google Maps on smart phone. Automatically updated, gives real time traffic problems and work arounds. Saved us lots of time not sitting in traffic when she suggests a quicker route.

X3 Love the Garmin RV760. Just completed cross country trip, Calif to Maine and home, and the RV routing was excellent. You must program it correctly and switch from RV to car as needed. Actually, the RV directions are very conservative so you don't get into any trouble.

RV GPS
In my car and in our van camper, I've used both Garmin and TomTom. I absolutely hate the Garmin.
We just upgraded to a Class C, and I'm thinking about accessories, tools, etc. GPS - do we need an RV GPS, or can we use the TomTom? If an RV GPS, can anyone compare the Good Sam vs the Rand McNally?
Thanks for any feedback.

I have the Rand McNally and the Garmin pictured above. Used them side by side on a 3,000 round trip.
I think the Garmin is superior, although I wish Garmin offered a wider variety of mounting options.
In my opinion, the Garmin wins because the layout is very clean and simple. The map formats and fonts are large enough to see with a quick glance, so I can keep my eyes on the road. The user interface on the Garmin is far more intuitive. Additionally, I found that the voice guidance with the Garmin was offered bit earlier and was more concise than the Rand McNally.
