We have decided to replace our King Dome with a Winegard Trav'ler antenna. Question is which one. We use Direct TV but really not interested in a DVR or HD programming. Would the SK3003 or the 3005 be the best choice in the long run?

The SK3003 is the for the legacy setup previously used by DirecTV. I don't even know why Winegard bothered to design one. You absolutely want to get the 3005. There's no telling where the DTV programming will go in the future, but this antenna will be ready for it.
