Which Wilson cell booster
Looking for a booster for our Verizon jetpack hotspot. Seems like everyone one likes the Wilson products but there are so many. Which one does everyone recommend and what are the differences?

Hi..
I use a Wilson Sleek 4G and it seems to work very well.. It also has adapters to accommodate my Verizon Hot Spot.
It comes with adapter arms to adapt to about any phone or hot spot.. I have a 4G hot spot so needed a compatible booster.. Also automatically switches to whatever band is available.

The answer is maybe. Go to the 3G store. Take the site survey, it is very helpful. I ended up using the included antenna with the 4G Sleek and it is enough for my current location.

Thanks for the reply Coma. Not sure how a site survey will help in our case as we travel throughout the Western states and use DSL when at home.
I'm thinking the upgraded antenna is the way to go.

The interpret the results tab gives you a good primer as to what to expect out of an antenna. I also helps decide if a simple stick to the window is enough, or do you want the powered one on a 20ft pole. The MH can act as block to all signals, Faraday Cage, so sometimes simply getting the antenna out side will be enough. If you are down in a hole, that is blocked by earth, there is not much that will help. If poor data rates are due to low signal strength or multi path then an antenna should help.

Update, gonna give the small antenna that comes with the kit a try on our next trip. Looks like it increases our hotspot from 3 to 5 bars in the driveway. I'm pretty happy with that.
