Hello All, I installed the Wilson 301133 Truck/RV antenna. It works fine with my Sprint Air Card and router. I am wondering if its worth installing the Wilson Amplifier to extend our cell phone range. Has anyone installed the Amplifier, and how is it working? My wife has a sprint cell phone and I use the Verizion Straight Talk phone from Walmart. I do relalize that with my phone I have to connect to a Verzion tower and have no roaming coverage that I know of. What amplifier and accessories do I need to work with these phones. Everything now works fine in or near the big cities. I am interested to know if the amplifier would extend our range beyond big cities and if so, how much? I appreicite you help.
Happy Holidays!

I use the 801245 amp with the "Sprint air card" and all has been well.
Please pay close attention to the antenna seperation required (20 feet) and your selection will work fine even on the Verizon phone...
In the Tombstone Arizona area where Sprint is weak mine works fine
but is a tad slower....

I use a Wilson amp (811201) with a Verizon Aircard & Cradlepoint router.
Worth the $$$ as it has brought in marginal signals.
What I mean by "marginal" . . .
- from a tree-covered beachfront RV site
- I leave the amp/router on while traveling in our RV and have been able to get decent signal pretty much anywhere

I use the 801210 booster, it has a passive pickup, which means it attaches to the phone with velcro, as my phone has no outside antenna. It works very well, will take a 0-1 bar signal and boost it to 5 bars.

I have a similar one - 811210. Instead of a cradle like the 801210 it has a flat plate antenna that Velcros to either an aircard or a cellphone.
It works great with both the cellphone and aircard.
If you have a signal it boost it.
My phone has a max of 4 bars and it will boost one bar to three bars.
