I had mine installed a couple months ago but hadn't had a chance to use it until I brought the MH home today. We took the TV out there, pushed the button and voila! HD. The 3005 replaced the AS-2004 and is a world of difference. After all the problems I had with the old antenna, this one is a joy.

I've had my Trav'ler for a couple years and it's been fantastic.

We had ours installed last January by Bill and Janet Adams and have been here in Bouse AZ ever since so haven't had an opportunity to set it up in different places.
We will be heading north in two or three weeks and I am looking forward to seeing it in action.

By the way the installation they did is much neater than the one done by a dealer on the old manual Winegard dish.
The dealer had slopped Dicor all over the place and after it was removed and the new dish was in place, Janet did a super neat sealing job with Dicor.

Bill and Janet installed my Winegard Travler (Dish 1000) in January at the Indio FMCA rally. They did a first class job and at a very good price.

My Trav'ler is the first product I have installed that worked first time out of the box with no tinkering. It was a fairly easy install as long as you have a friend or two to help get it on the roof.

Mine is the Dish equivalent model. Sometimes when in tree cover, I might have to take it off automatic and manually select one satellite. This has worked well for us as long as I know what channels are on which sats. Sometimes I have to fore-go HD to make this work. Zeroing in on one sat also allows me to pick from the eastern or western arc sats, so when a western arc sat is impossible to see, I can switch to one in the east that is stronger.

Dish uses three satellites in each arc, but since the 77 degree sat is fairly new, the Winegard box doesn't allow it to be selected. I write them every week hoping for an upgrade. I guess time will tell.

I am very happy with mine.
