Winegard 8535 replacement?

We were thinking of replacing our original Winegard TV antenna on our 2014 Tiffin 36LA with the Winegard Rayzar 8535 auto tune TV antenna. Not sure our original unit has ever worked correctly.
My question is, can you use the original cables and can you use the original holes in the roof? Hate making more possible leaks. Thanks for your input!

I'm not sure about your model number, but if it's one of the Winegard crank up antennas it can be done. Winegard offers plates to cover the hole left in the ceiling and roof and the Rayzar will just fasten down to the roof. It only requires a single coax cable for signal and power, so it could use the existing cable. For the best reception, you might want to pull a new coax if you can though. The Rayzar comes with a new power plate and splitter combination that goes inside.
