In my home I have Direct TV DVR that uses the new "SWIM" single coax that allows you to record/watch two separate channels at once. I have a conventional style receiver in my motor home but, alas it does not record.

DW would love to record her favorite shows when we are away from home so I'm wondering if anyone has been able to adapt the new single "SWIM" L&B/dish to their Winegard antenna?

Apparently Winegard does not sell a compatible unit, but my idol: Rube Goldberg would have simply adapted one onto his existing unit, were he still alive today.

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

According to Winegard a Rube Goldberg solution does exist. You can read about it here: http://www.winegard.com/kbase/upload/2452242.pdf. It would seem to be easier to just get a DVR for your RV. Remember in order to watch one channel while you record another you will need two coax feeds from the antenna to the DVR.
