Winegard AS2003 Satellite System Issue

I was hoping someone might be able to offer a suggestion to help. My satellite keeps fading in and out when there is a moderate wind blowing. I can hear it rattle the dish on the roof of the RV. I checked and there does not appear to be any loose wires or such to cause this. Possibly just worn parts are starting to show their wear and play in the dish is enough to send signal in and out.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

That would be the wind causing the dish to move too much. Winegard claims that there is a gear you can tighten to help this somewhat but there is no complete cure for it.
You can call Winegard tech support and see if they can give you the correct information. Winegard no longer supports that dish and they are offering upgrade packages to replace your dish if you are interested.

And it's worth every penny if you can get into the replacement program. I replaced my 2 year old 2003 with an SK-3005 under their program, and it's amazing the difference between the two.
