Winegard carryout, direct tv, and 2013 palazzo 33.3 set up/ running wires

just looking for some advice on running the wires to my portable satellite from my direct tv dvd box, i have a class a thor palazzo 33.3, wondering if i need to use two coax cables to the sat, from the box or one, i already have a way to supply the power to the sat. but not doing any permeant things yet, i was really hoping to hook into the cable port on the side of my coach but i am not sure if that would work, if i need both coax then i will need to run a perm. hook up into a bay some where, most likely the one under where the direct tv box would be. any help/ pics will be great thanks

Jim, do you have a port in your bay marked "satellite TV?" If not, it's likely just a cable TV input port.

No it says cable, but putting in a port I can do for the sat. Just so confused about it all, the winegard guy says do it one way, the directions in the box say another way and direct tv says I need a b-band connector but no one really said how to run the wires as in can I hook through the cable port or need a new port, and also some say I need to run 2 coax to the dish from my reciver but not sure why since I will only be using the one reciver, here at home I have 1coax coming from my dish to reciver.

According to Winegard you need a coax to "Main" that connects to the Directv receiver "SAT IN" and a 12vdc supply to the Carryout .... that's all. The coax CANNOT go thru any other device. You can use coax-to-coax couplers but NO DEVICES (amps, switches, etc.).

Look for Quickstart Guide on this site:

Winegard Carryout Portable Satellite Dish, Portable Satellite TV

It basically says:

Connect the supplied power cable
to the quick disconnect socket.
Connect a coax cable from the
primary receiver to the main port.
If applicable, connect a second
coax cable from the secondary
receiver to the secondary port.
The coaxial cable needs to run
DIRECTLY
from the
Satellite In
port on the back of the Satellite
Receiver.
If wiring through a wall plate
on the side of the
coach, consult
Using Outside Receptacle
steps on back.

Before plugging in power, be sure that your satellite receiver is set up
for use with the Carryout antenna, as shown inside this guide.
The power plug needs to be
connected to a 12V power source
