Winegard ConecT2.0??

We opted to not have any electronics installed on our soon to be built Newmar Dutch Star. Their electronics options list wasn't that impressive. I was going to see if they could install the Wingard ConnecT2.0

Has any seen or heard of any reviews or feedback on the unit?? Looks like it could be a big winner with user-selected cellular data plans from the big cellular companies. (att Verizon etc)

It retails for $350, less than half of the original ConnecT.

Send a message via Yahoo to rk911
will the winegard device work with your existing at&t or verizon data plan or must you use their data plan? their plans are pretty expensive...$150 for 20gb.

Winegard ConecT2.0??

It will accept any existing network SIM card using your plan. You can opt to use their network but don’t have to.

"The Winegard ConnecT captures available WiFi signals providing maximum security & RV internet speed.

Keep mobile devices, media players, and computers connected while you travel. ConnecT 4G models link to nationwide 4G LTE for reliable, uninterrupted, in-motion and stationary coverage!

The new Winegard ConnecT 2.0 offers capability to swap SIM cards to add to new or existing data plans from other carriers!"

It just started shipping (though OEM's might have had it earlier). It looks like a substantial improvement over the previous model.

If able to use a customer provided SIM card I would have considered this had it been available when we had our coach built late last year. Alas I have a Cradlepoint IBR router and have been very pleased.

Does the cradlepoint pick up and boost Wi-Fi signals? That is what the connect2.0 does and curious if the cradlepoint does.

Winegard ConecT2.0??

Honestly I havenít even tried. I ported an old laptop SIM and Verizon is not throttling data at all so we just use the cell service.

Ya I just saw their review actually! I think the cradlepoint dual sim is going to be the way to go. Thanks for the feedback!
