Does anyone know how to stabilize this dish in the wind? Other than using a concrete block or a rope. I've tryed everything I think.

Tired of climbing on the roof to tie down!

I understand that Winegard has a fix for this, both tightening and a new part. When we experienced this problem and had it tightened once, we went to the King Dome solution and have never looked back. Semiautomatic, with a hardwired remote. Our local RV service/supply shop ordered it overnight and simply swapped it out, using the original spot on the roof and Winnebago/Itasca installed coax.

The only thing I've been able to do is just turn it enough against the wind so it doesn't shift and make the picture disappear or break up. It can be a real crappy deal if the wind keeps shifting directions but I guess I put up with it rather than get out the other dish and set up the outside tri-pod. Lazy I guess.
