My digital elev sensor is giving me an ER code. My info from Winegard says to check the wiring connections . I did and all looks good. Any other thoughts ??

Mine has a 9 volt battery that needs changing every year or so. It is behind the digital display cover.

Thanks Rocky. I'm confused. I took off that face plate and didn't see a battery. I just started using it this summer and it worked. The mh is 3 years old. It has enough power to give me the er code. Could it be that mine is hard wired?

The manual says that it can be hard wired which mine is. So I'm back to the same question as to why I'm getting an ER code.

Twice I had to disconnect the 12 volt connector from the pc board to reset the sensor. For some reason it was in the land of lost bytes and removing the power and waiting a minute or so before reapplying it got it back.
The last time I had the problem, nothing worked and I had to buy a new sensor. Note that if you have to get a new one it will need to be calibrated but that's easy and instructions come with the sensor.
