I have the trav'lerSk3 SWm for Directv. Recently hit trees leaving a park and bent the Lnb arm. was able to get new lnb arm and reflector from Solid Signal. Then it worked great again Winegard support was fabulous. Then I developed loss of communication with Satellite. After Troubleshooting with Directv who were of no help because I was not at home(no service tech to RV) I chased wires myself. I found that the wire that goes into the turret when connected directly to the wire out of the Turret using a barrel connector my signal was restored. Upon telling Winegard that they said they do no troubleshooting of the turret that if it is 2014 or newer I could send the unit to them in Burlington Iowa for repair at approx. 450-500 dollars. I am still undecided but they were firm in telling me that they don't offer any advice on inner workings of the Turret and only they are authorized to repair them. Good luck if you can find anyone to work on it.

Anyone know of anyone that repairs the Winegard units?
With all the issues with the firmware on the Wally and this dish I would not fix it. I would buy a Playmaker and replace it. Probably cost the same. I have the Roadtrip on the roof and for 7+ months Dish promises to fix it. Nope not fixed yet. I use the Playmaker as a ground deploy when I am in treed areas so I just use that one instead. Dish keeps giving me monthly credits for service because of the Roadtrip problems.
