Just bought a used Tour (2008) coach WD floor plan, previous owner had a Direct HD box , I am now trying to change it over to accept Bell Express Vu, everything was going fine until we tried to stow the dish, we could not get the Express Vu signal and when the satellite was searching it was pointed straight up to the sky and just kept searching we tried to get the dish stowed and no way it would stow it is lined up in the proper position to stow but cannot get the arms to stow the dish, any suggestions besides dismantling the dish as to how to get it stowed so at least we can get it to a dealer???

Since the previous owner had DirecTV HD, I assume you have a Trav'ler 3005. The installation manual on the Winegard web site has an emergency stow procedure on Page 9. There is a plug to remove, then you use a 3/8" (clockwise) socket to lower the dish. It says lower the dish manually - do not use a drill to drive the socket.

So what is the control panel telling you? Does it think it's stowed or giving you an error? Try pulling power to the control box, plug in, and turn it back on. Give it a few seconds (like 5), press and hold the power switch. The fact that it's searching says it's not a mechanical jam, but it's brains are scrambled.
Good Luck!
BTW- This is the first of any problem I've heard with the Travler.
