Winegard Travler won't Stow

We are in Tucson and my Winegard Travler is in the up position and won't power down and go in the stowed position. When I press the power button it says power on but when I release the button it shuts off. I called Winegard and they say the control unit is bad. Winegard is sending me a new control unit but I need to get the antenna down before Saturday when we leave for Mesa.

Our Travler is configured for DISH. Our friend is parked next to us and has the Travler but it is set for Direct. Can I use his control unit just to get my Travler down for travel?

See page 9 of this PDF for "emergency manual stow".

Winegard support pointed that out to me this morning. I hope that is my last resort. The weather here is very very cold and I think the roof will be very slippery.

My problem turned out to be a defective power supply. I borrowed one from my neighbor in the Park and I was able to lower and stow the Dish. Winegard is sending me a new one.
