Wineguard TOGO $30 Ulimited Interent

I just found out about the TOGO from Winegard and AT&T unlimited internet service for 30.00 per month but I can't seem to find the device for sale. Does anyone have more info on this? Here the link to the announcement

Seems like for 30 bucks it would nice to have a backup to my Version
prepaid plan.

The unlimited plan is an annual plan $360 prepaid, no prorating.

The radio is only a LTE Cat 4 (AT&T may only want these inexpensive unlimited plans on radios with less bands and no CA). SIM may be locked to the Winegard Togo, won't know until someone tries to move the SIM.

I am also interested in this system. I found a ebay ad for the system. The ad is: "WINEGARD WF2-TH2 Togo Roadlink C2". I also wanted to check out the AT&T side, they have a "Turn your RV into a powerful Wi-Fi hotspot with AT&T" ad for the AT&T Connected Car Togo Annual Unlimited Plan (Prepaid). To verify the ability to get the system connected with their $360.00 plan.

I plan to switch from ATT to Verizon this fall. I may buy this device to have a backup data plan for when I can get ATT but no Verizon. Just finished 7 day trip. 4 days Verizon only, 3 days ATT only. Its nice to have options.

I'm considering purchasing this system in a few weeks. Has anyone else had a chance to try it out?

We were at a park last week where there was no wifi and cell service on Verizon was spotty. Wifi was only available one street over. I actually like the fact that this one is with ATT to better our chances of service. I'm basically already paying Verizon $30 a month for hotspot. Planning to cancel it.

Let us know if you do buy this and your thoughts. We’ll be setting out in November for a lengthy trip. Last’s winter was pretty much a calamity of always wondering if WiFi or cell service would work at each location. Thx.

Looking into this product as well. The TOGO website says it will connect up to 10 devices within 50 feet. We store the RV next to the house and our home office is about 35 feet from where the TOGO would be mounted. So if it would work for us both on the road and at home it would definitely be worth it to us. Does anyone know if that might be feasible?

I can probably answer that question by the end of the week. I purchased one off of Amazon just last night. FYI... the price was 365 + tax. So the 399 price is dropping. I didn't see it dropping much lower since the Connect 2.0 is around 350.00.

I keep my RV at home. I have every intention of connecting a few of my home devices to it while it sits in the yard just to test it out. I have ATT fiber at home so I won't abuse it while at home.

My trailer is about 10 feet from my dining room. I will use the Togo as a backup to my cable internet service. I get good house wifi in the trailer. I suspect I will see the trailer wifi in the house. I am waiting until I switch my phones from ATT to Verizon before I buy the unit and pay for the year of IP service.

Please do let us know, Brad. I’m curious about that, too.

The only thing that concerns me about this device is that it’s locked to AT&T. Sure, $360 for a year of unlimited data is awesome now, but if they start raising the price next year it might not be quite so awesome to have spent $399 on a device that will use nothing but AT&T.

It certainly feels like somewhat of a gamble but I've researched every device available and they all seem to have their own quirks or limitations. I felt like I was taking a gamble on every option out there.

I read that the TOGO is essentially a Connect 2.0 with different firmware and housing. It has the Verizon sim card slot but it is currently locked. Here's hoping that in the future that can be enabled if the plans begin to change.
