wired rear view camera

I have used wireless rear view cameras in the past but now have a fifth wheel with a rear window and was thinking about a wired rear view camera for better clarity. I note that some of the wired camera systems come with 33' AVIATION cables. That would be long enough to get through the 5th wheel and I would need a cable from my monitor in tow wheel to meet the 33 ft cable (also an aviation cable).

Anybody do this and if so are there any tricks or tips?
