My computer will work with the mouse or the keyboard, but not at the same time. I do a connect with the mouse and the keyboard will not work. If I do a connect with the keyboard the mouse will not work. I tried doing connect with one then the other and the last one I do is the one that works. It just started this today. Any ideas ??

Just on of those weird things I expect. Uninstall all the Logitech software and disconnect the devices.

Restart the system so that it's clean and you get a stable environment.

Reinstall the software only and wait until the software asks you to connect the devices. Follow the prompts and hopefully your wireless connectivity will come back.

Logitech makes a product called a "Unifying Receiver." This device makes easy connecting multiple wireless devices.

My diagnostic procedure assumed that new batteries were present.

The battery in my LT mouse goes about every 7 to 8 months. I have a small USB transceiver that does not intrude into my space as much as previous transceivers. The Logitech software tells me when the battery is low and if I don't change it - the mouse just quits. Indicator there is the laser under the mouse is off.

Mike, I did as you said. It lasted about 15 min. and the mouse went away. I did a connect and got a few more minuites. I also noticed that when after tuning the puter back on. I am getting a keyboard failure as it loads. Going to get a new keyboard and mouse tomorrow.

Today also my four year old ACER laptop. the screen colors are way off and the screen is flashing at times. I have taken the battery out powered it down and back up with no change. I supect something wrong with the power but not sure. I am also not sure it worth taking in. Any ideas ?

Now the good one !! I got a I ROBOT Dirt DOG for cleaning the garage. It runs about 5 min. and stops. It then does 9 beeps saying senor failure. Not my day for anything electric !! I have Emailed I Robot and done what they said . NO luck with that.

Did you buy them as a set... as in the same package? If not.. they may be trying to use the same channel / frequency ... last connected will work.

Look on the bottom of the keyboard.. may be hidden or even in the battery compartment.. look for tiny dip switches.. change just one switch.

I got them as a set. They have been ok for over a year. I think every thing I got is trying to break today.

The laptop came back for a few min, but when I went to changes pages it would not do anything, so I forced it off. It came back doing the same thing.

On some key boards if you change the batteries you must also hit reset button on bottom of key board.

I could do a reset and it would last about 5 min. before the mouse or the keyboard would quit. I went to Wal mart today and got a new keyborad and mouse. It seems now everything ok.

Hi Tom - I know just what you're going through. Back in November-December my aged desktop computer quit (thankfully I still had my laptop), then the cordless phone went on the blink, and right after Christmas the kitchen TV blanked out. I know things come in "threes" but I was almost afraid to ask "what else can possibly happen". But now after 3 months of holding my breath I can almost breath again. Only thing is the Norcold recall gadget that was installed 2 weeks ago has started intermittantly making a fast ticking noise when the outside temperature gets up in the 70-80's. Now waiting on a Norcold Technical Support man to get back to me (after he checks with some of his field technicians-but I thought that was what he was).

I finally wnet to Wallmart and got a new keyboard and mouse. This time I one that is not wireless. Now I got a no good keyboard and mouse taking up space in the garage. I forgot to throw it away last week when I took the trash off.
