From ATT.com zte mobley

"DataConnect 5gb for $25
Access to AT&T nationwide 4G LTE network. All data plans include unlimited usage on the entire national AT&T Wi-Fi HotSpot network.
Overage rate: $14.99/250MB on 250MB plan and $10/GB for the 1 GB, 3GB and 5GB plans."

AT&T Wi-Fi HotSpot network is not the same thing as 4G LTE network.

The great deal from last year is not currently available.

Unfortunately, without actually seeing one’s bill with usage, it is hard to tell which bits of info are accurate.

Heck, even what customer service says on the phone may not match what is actually activated.

The bill is the only thing you can trust.

Which has no bearing on somebody trying to get a Mobley with the $20 Connected Car plan as you admitted you were an existing customer.

Check your bill carefully , especially if you use lots of data. I was told ATT “calls “ the new plans unlimited but the cellular data is limited what’s unlimited , the person I spoke with said the use of att hotspots around the country. All the tech blogs and forum conversations say it’s dead , the Mobley is definitely available but att has changed the plans with some confusing wording. Unless you have the connected car plan you don’t have true unlimited I would bet.
If you did get” in “ somehow on the true unlimited plan ( possible but unusual to happen temp throttle in over loaded cell sites after 22gb ) congratulations! And welcome , you’ll love the access!

So, in post #7 when you logged in as a new customer, were you able to get to the $20 plan?

I'm sure if you previously had the $20 plan and simply changed your device it would simply operate on the plan you already had contracted.

I got mine while the $20 plan was still available. I got the 2 year contract as I figured they would eventually change it. I guess I have 18 more months of $20 then we'll see what's available.

Yes in post #7 I got to where I could have put it in my cart. I did not have a mobley prior to this one. I have the Netgear hotspot that cost me Approx. $90 for unlimited data. The last suggestion I have is to go to att.com and get on chat, as I just did now, and ask if a new customer can get the mobley on an unlimited plan for $20 a month. I said I was asking for a friend that would be a new customer. The gentleman's answer was,"yes he certainly can".

If this does not work for you folks, I am out of ideas. Please understand I have been only trying to help.

Jerboy, this has been an ongoing thing so don't be frustrated. You got your mobley and it is working, so if others refuse to believe it because they can not figure it out, then it is to bad for them. I already had mine, but went almost all the way back through ordering one again to prove my point to another person. Happy internet surfing, love mine.

Yes...as one poster stated, you can just tether your phone, but you pay $100.00 or more a month to get unlimited on your phone. I can limit my phone to 3GB, save a $100.00 and get a DEDICTATED Mobley for $20.00. That's an $80.00 a month saving.

Just for those trying to get the old price, keep trying. ATT is so screwed up. 90% of their employees have NO IDEA what their company offers.

It will be interesting to see if someone actually get the old plan now on a new mobley, I tried and failed. I'm researching my best option using my old unlocked GSM iPhone 6 Plus to tether. T-Mobile has a senior 55 plan that is unlimited for 2 line that looks interesting.

And you get that Verizon unlimited data plan for how much $ ? I'm betting not $20.
