We can hear ours running when it runs. The dealer said they looked inside (i asusme where the baffle or shroud would go) and said everything is OK, but this is also screwy. Yesterday he said he called norcold and they told him the only thing they were going to do was reset, and we would have to pay to make the shroud. Today the subject started to come up and I said that if norcold is saying this is a problem then it is a defect and they should pay. Dealer then said that he had called norcold back and they said that they would pay. Then when we came back to pic up camper, he suddenly says it doesnt need this. Dealer called me back this evening and said he talked with norcold about getting something doen, then called Monaco. He said monaco said that when this thing threw a no code the second time requiring a reset that the board should have been authorized by norcold to be replaced at that time, but when he told norcold, dealer said norcold denied this. Now norcold wants us to bring it back in to run diagnostics (which they done last yr during a no code and supposedly found nothing), but they are going to check it this time even without the code. We were told before they couldnt tell anything unless it had a code. Still no offer for replacement. Also found out our warranty (2 yrs) is up august 05, and norcold said if we did a oriifis maintenance cleanign we got another yr for parts. I thought they said we do it, but now not sure if it was us pay for it and dealer do or us do. So need to call again i guess.

Picked up camper on Thursday of last week after just doing another flash by tech as usual. Left for SC beach on friday afternoon. Fridge cold, loaded with cold items. Stayed over night along the way, still concerned because fridge was not cooling off. Before we were half way there fridge flashed no co again. Hubby re set by turning on and off. I called dealer to let service manager know my feelings on the subject and he wasnt there and no one in service dept, so left message. By the time we were almost there, and after repeated checks while going down the road, we saw it wasnt cooling. not running any codes but fridge up to 65 degrees. So I called dealer again, they told me to take it to camping world on myrtle to be repaired. I called Camping World at about 2 pm and they said to get it there by 3:30 pm and they would check it(on warranty). We arrived at 3:30 on the dot. Had to rush to make it by that time and stopped directly there before going to campground. Lady there told me that to have it checked on warranty they would have to call Norcold first to verify warranty, but couldnt do that till Monday cz it was Saturday. She explained the boy who set appt was new and didnt realize that. So we set appt for monday and took camper to campground. Set up, leveled, and plugged in. Well Lo and Behold it worked on electric. So come Monday morning we canceled instead of tearing down and take it over there and maybe having to leave it for days with nothing to stay in. Packed up and left on Saturday morning with a cold fridge around 30 degrees. Again, along the way we noticed fridge temps steadily climbing. Still not running a code as was the usual, but by the time we got home it was a wopping 75 degrees in the fridge. I called dealer this morning, expalined, and told firmly this was it, I wasnt playing with it any more, do something or I talk to a lawyer. I am tired of being polite. Warranty running off soon. also told him of person on web I contacted in this forum that said they knew of 7 others with 1200 series having to have fridge replaced, and that their dealer stood up for them with Norcold and got theirs replaced on warranty. he said he had been firm with Norcold in the past. Got to take it into them again in the morning . Another hr drive one way. And with the price of gas this is rediculous.I dont know what recourse I have legally, and wether the Lemon Law applies here or not, but if something isnt done ,i will certainly find out. Norcold has to know there is a problem with these with so many complaints. Also to top it off, the service manager was the man that sold us the camper, and he moved to service. The guy he replaced never managed to tell me the truth about anything. He even set us up an appt once for 8 AM one day, and when we got there, had to wait till 9 for them to open, just to find out the service dept wasnt in that day and never has been. And that was only one of his lies. Well he was fired. Was feeling a little more hopeful about getting something done, till the guy doing the re set told me the guy now managing wasnt much better. I can certainly see why this dealer has quit sellign campers and went to servicing them only.

Your refrigerator actions sound a lot like mine, even the working on 110V and not propane. In the end, I'm betting you need a replacement or else there are parts in the venting not installed when it was installed at factory by coach builder.
The fact that it worked on AC is telling that part of the unit is functioning as it should, but with out the LP portion working, they need to focus on the LP portion of the cooling system. Just reseting the board will do nothing. Been there and done that, it doesn't work, just results in another trip back to dealer.
We finally left ours with dealer running on propane and of course it failed to completely cool and tripped the no co code again. After they exeperienced what happened twice more while at dealership during the next week, the dealer got permission to just completely change out the whole refrigerator. While taking it out they then discovered that not all the propane venting parts were installed at the factory. It was never going to work as installed.
Good luck.

I wonder how much fuel $$ would be equal to the cost of replacing the board yourself. I don't endorse letting the dealer or the manufacturer off the hook, but you must have more patience than I.

Well I finally made calls of my own after it went out again on my last trip to the beach. I was able to Monaco involved in the situation even thought my warranty with Monaco has gone off (1 yr). Since they knew I have made numerous calls to them and dealer over the past 2 yrs. This guy was very concerned and seemed to be very honest with me.He started acting as a go between between Norcold and the dealer and us to get the fridge fixed and not just reset and sent home. Anyway monaco said they would stay involved in this case and be till their sure the fridge is fixed. Monaco said the gas was burning too hot at the flame, and it warped the burner tube and some problem with the orifis. The said something about ohms or something being 11. But then it just came to me, the dealer had called 2 weeks before that to tell me the ohms or something was only 9.5 when we arrived and needed to be 10, so he upped to 11. I am not sure if this is the same thing at the same place and dealer didnt know what he was doing or what ,i need to call monaco back again. I dont know anything about this stuff. They say now since it wa so high it was getting to hot in behind the fridge and shutting things off while running on propane. Dealer called yesterday and we go to pic up the camper on monday. He said he ran it on propane for 8 hrs with no problems. We he did this before too. It wouldnt seem to act up when it sat in their shop perfectly level. But we will be taking it camping the first of september then in 2 more weeks a 10 day trip to pidgeon forge Tn.
