OK here is what I found:
Removed the shroud ( 6 screws ), pulled the Micro from the cabinet, Removed back cover and top / side cover. The light bulb is very simple to get at but the local stores do not have a bulb that matches the physical size. The bulbs available locally are more tubular than bulbular and a 1/4 inch longer so they do not fit.
What I understand about the process is that a microwave holds a large voltage charge that can hurt you

if you touch the area that is dangerous so BE CAREFUL not get into the dangerous wiring. If you just work on the light bulb you should be fine.
When I got into this job I found a wire disconnected from a small plastic cooling fan and my light bulb was just loose so I fixed those two problems and all is well again.
