1983 Pace Arrow Help Please

Hi, newbie to your forum here. A friend gave me a 1983 Pace Arrow 34' MH. It has 30k miles, dual roof air (rear one is new), 6.5kw Onan generator, Chev P30 chassis with 454. The roof has never leaked and is in great condition as well as the interior except the chassis electrical. My friend is not much of a camper so this thing sat for years unused. When his young son went outside to play, where he really went was in the MH and took things apart. The instrument cluster was found in the back along with most of the dashboard. There are no batteries in it (there is supposed to be 3) and many cables under the hood that are supposed to be hooked to batteries. He removed house switches and outlets, light fixtures, counter & sinks, stove, cupboard doors etc etc etc, get the picture? Everything is in there strewn from one end to the other. I have put the furniture and appliances back together but need help with the chassis wiring and house wiring. Does anybody know where I might get wiring diagrams for this? Not so much schematics but diagrams showing what wires go to what battery, isolator and so on. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I doubt if you will find the sort of document you are looking for. Best you will find is schemetics. For the chassis that will be the Chevrolet Light Truck Manual set. It covers the C, G, K, and P series chassis. There are at least 2 books. The main book (ST 330-83) covers most of the chassis information. The 2nd part (ST 333-83) covers component overhaul information. Paper copies of those books can be rather expensive. The best deal is in pdf form from Bishko Manuals (1983 CHEVROLET & GMC C/K 10-35 LIGHT DUTY, G & P SERIES Body, Chassis & Electrical Service Manual CD) which includes everything. That link is if you have a 83 P30 chassis. If you have a 83 unit built on a 82 chassis then you need the 82 version of the manual (1982 CHEVROLET & GMC C/K 10-35 LIGHT DUTY, G & P SERIES & EL CAMINO Body, Chassis & Electrical Service Manual CD). Chassis wiring diagrams are in the back. In general, the motorhome chassis is reffered to as a P32 and the P series bread truck is reffered to as a P42.
