Had full tanks and it took at least 20 minutes to dump at a state park with people waiting on me. I'm used to the old way with a 3" hose and dump, rinse, and all takes about 5 minutes. Am I doing something wrong or is this about right for the Sani-Con? Thanks!

Sounds about right if you had both tanks full.
I use one at my winter spot for going a long ways and uphill some.
But when traveling I use the much faster 3" all summer.
Besides mine is so old the hoses are hard and I could never get them to coil up inside a compartment.

It was taking me a long time to dump as well. So I removed the macerator pump and disassembled it. The stainless steel impeller was full of hair so I cleaned that out. Upon taking the pump apart I discovered the rubber impeller was wasted. It has six vanes and four of them were missing or broken so bad they weren't moving much. I replaced the impeller and it was a tremendous improvement. I can dump both tanks now in about 6 minutes including a good rinse of the black tank.

I have three tanks and will be slightly longer but for distance and upgrade can't be beat.
I have also the 3" for short runs in campgrounds.

Sani-con and the likes are all much slower than the stinky slinky. It's main purpose is to move the waste tank liquid some distance away or a small lift. For every day use, it is not worth the effort.

For those of you that sometimes use a macerator, and have 24 volts available, or are handy enough to provide 24 volts, a 24 volt macerator is a vast improvement!

The Sani-Con manual states max pump rate of 10 GPM (gallons per minute)...
You should get a little less flow in practice so --- How big are your tanks??
