To the OP: Your original post tells me that your problem is on the coach side of the power pedestal. You report that the electrician checked the pedestal 50 amp after replacing the CB and receptacle. Others have specifically asked if you have checked the voltage between L1 and L2..........you report that you checked it but ignored the question of what voltage did you read between L1 and L2. Maybe you don't know what L1 and L2 are.
Those of us that are trying to help you need some specific answers. I doubt anyone trying to help knows your abilities to troubleshoot. If you can't answer the questions or provide the answers you can't expect any meaningful help. Good luck to you.

I think problem exists between plug and socket.. here is why
You grab ye old dogbone and the entire coach gets power (30 amps) this indicates all the wires in the motor home are good, shore cord is good and such.
You plug the same plug you plugged into the Dogbone into the 50 amp outlet and ... Nothing happens, no power
You check the 50 with a volt meter, all is good.
So the junction of outlet and plug is where the problem has to be.
IS something keeping the plug from going in the outlet properly?

It think you have misread the OP
Here is what the OP said in post #1 "Changed plug on the shore power cable, still no 50 amp only 30 amp.

Okay something is missing here...voltmeter readings.
Starting at pedestal then working towards ac load center measure following voltage points.
Safety ground to neutral
Neutral to L1
Neutral to L2
L1 to L2
Should get following results
SG -N ZERO
N-L1. 120 VAC
N-L2 120 VAC
L1-L2 240 VAC
Until the voltages are known there is only guessing.

When votages were checked thet were L1 122.3 / L2 121.6 . L1-L2 243. Multiple readings for tech guys all around 121-122 and L1-L2 241-243. Both tech support guys are waiting till I move on Wed and plug into another park system.

If ped is good and connector swapped on cord could be cord.
Odd thinking...
If neutral and safety ground reversed and safety ground not bonded to neutral then it could get funny.
Please check voltage at plug in at mh if there or in load center or breaker panel.

Good job! And those voltages were taken where.......
At pedestal?
At moho end of power cord?
At moho distribution panel main breakers?
It makes a difference where you read the voltages!

I had same issue one time. It was a loose connection in transfer switch. I was connected to 50 A and power panel showed 30 A. Had several circuits out in coach. Receptacle on pedestal tested fine.

Steve,
Your problem was similar but not the same.
He gets NO POWER when hooked to the 50 amp receptacle but then gets full power when hooked to the 30 amp receptacle.
The claim is that the pedestal is now working correctly and has been tested.
Unless there is something really strange going on with his transfer switch such that when hooked to 50 amp power, nothing gets through the transfer switch but when hooked to 30 amp power everything gets through the transfer switch.
I am not sure what that could be but it's always good to check everything.

Saga continues. Before leaving RV park plugged into another power pedestal. Got same results, no 50 amp power, only 30 amp. drove to Galveston State park, plugged into50 amp, Presto every thing works great. Spoke with tech rep and next step is to have power cord tested for an intermitant short and also have transfer box shore module checked for same. Thanks to everyone for your ideas and suggestions.

What I saw;
30 amp outlet---dogbone--RV's 50 amp cord---RV
Everythign worked
50 amp outlet--RV's 50 amp cord--RV
Nothing work
Bad sockt or problem exists between plug and socket.
No other answer presents, NOT ONE.

This would be answered with full sets of voltmeter readings at intersection points as op stated ped was okay.
Needed to check end of cord ac load etc.

You would be most likely testing for an open and not a short. If it were a short you would hear a snap and trip a breaker
